Karen Shakhnazarov to Release a New Film by his 60th Birthday

The head of Mosfilm Studio Karen Shakhnazarov wants to release his new film White Tiger by his anniversary to be marked in July.
      Shakhnazarov worked the entire last year round on that film, based on Ilya Boyashevs war story Tankman, or the White Tiger.
      Well-known Russian film director Karen Shakhnazarov, who will turn 60 on July, 8th, is sure that the film has got distribution potential.
      The film is set during the Great Patriotic War and tells about the struggle of a miraculously survived soldier and a German tank-phantom known as the White Tiger. Shakhnazarov co-wrote the film scenario together with the screenwriter Aleksandr Borodyansky.
