Archeologists Find New Traces of Neanderthal Men in Siberia

Archeologists have found a number of important artifacts in caves of Altai in the recent season, academician Vyacheslav Molodin, the deputy director of Archeology and Ethnography Institute of the Siberian branch of RAS reports.
      
      Archeologists have found a number of important artifacts in caves of Altai in the recent season, academician Vyacheslav Molodin, the deputy director of Archeology and Ethnography Institute of the Siberian branch of RAS reports.
      
      “For example, the new cave – Chagyrsky Cave in Altai - probably, the most remarkable finds have been made here – and quite a lot of man’s bones among them. According to anthropologists, these are remains of the Neanderthal men” – he said.
      
      The finds are planned to be studied in the framework of the projects carried out by Russian and foreign scientists, including paleogenetics.
