Scientists from the University of Pennsylvania confirmed that Native Americans came from Altai Territory, southern Siberia.
That is Altai Territory, from where fourteen thousand years ago the ancestors of the indigenous inhabitants of the USA and Canada came to Alaska. They moved across Central and Eastern Siberia and the Bering Straits and then they spread throughout North America.
This hypothesis, appeared 100 years ago, was confirmed by a group of geneticists from the University of Pennsylvania. Minor changes have occurred in the general genetic code of Indians and Altaians that can be explained by the different conditions of life of these people.
