New National Park to Appear in Russia

The new national park “Atarskaya luka” will appear in Kirov region. It will be located on the territory of the Soviet, Nolinsky and Lebyazhsky districts, on the Vyatka river.

      The length of the park will be more than 60 kilometers including all surrounding territories. “Atarskaya luka” will offer tourists fresh air, rich variety of flora and fauna, a big number of rare plants. The park is famous for its wildlife, it is a home to deer, chipmunks, wolverines, otters and other mammals. Burials of mammoths, bison and different ancient animals have been found in this area and this provides a great opportunity for educational tourism.

      The authorities are planning to make the national park one the brands of Vyatka region.
