Ukraine has become the main importer of Russian vodka in 2011

Ukraine has become the main purchaser of Russian vodka, its share is 27% out of total export volume in 2011, or 1.4 million decalitres.  

      
Export of Russian vodka grew 17% in 2011 and made up 5.14 million decalitres.

      
More than 90% of Russian vodka acquired in Ukraine was produced at plants of Russian Alcohol Company, which is owned by Polish CEDC. The company took 5.5% of the local market thanks to brands Zenyenaya Marka (Green Mark) and Zhuravli (Cranes).

      
CEDC has turned out to be the largest exporter of Russian vodka. It exported 1.86 million decaliters. It is followed by Russian Standard with 1.41 million. The producer Sinergiya has brought abroad only 260 thousands decaliters.
