Teachers who proposed to revive hobby groups popular in Soviet times, have been supported by deputies of Moscow City Duma.
School professionals are calling for the restoration of cultural and leisure centres and argue that the creation of various hobby groups will help to carry out educational work with children and teenagers.
Currently, the construction of such children's clubs is complicated by the fact that all property is privatized, teachers are overwhelmed with paper work, and besides, organizers do not receive any money.
The deputies of the Communist Party have promised teachers to help in solving all the difficulties. Thus, in the near future a proposal for the organization of youth club in the residential neighborhoods of the capital will be submitted to Moscow government.
