The exposition “Russian Sculptor Erzia and Entire World” dedicated to works by the emigrant artist little-known in his homeland has opened in the Russian State Library.
For the first time his works kept in museums and private collections of various countries over the world and never earlier brought to Russia have been gathered at the exhibition in Moscow.
The exposition also presents a set of photos and documents, including the documentary story of the former embassy secretary of the USSR to Argentina Yury Paporov, who has collected unique materials, letters, interviews, and newspaper and magazine publications about Erzia in Argentina.
The exhibition runs till March, 5th.
