Norway Will Hold a Ski Festival in St.Petersburg

A ski festival, organized by the Norwegian Council for Tourism, the Bergans company and the Ski and Snowboard Federation, will take place in St. Petersburg February 18, 2012. Winter sports enthusiasts are welcomed to visit the "Okhta-Park" from 11.00 to 15.00.

      According to the organizers, guests will have a unique opportunity to experience the atmosphere of sports competitions, team spirit, winter outdoor fun and Norwegian hospitality.

      The program includes alpine skiing competitions, entertainment for families, a ski relay and a snow battle. In addition, there will be plenty of amusements and contests with prizes from the famous Bergans company. Winners will be able to leave the festival with a new ski suit from the last collection of this Norwegian brand. The event will be held in “Okhta-park” - the closest ski resort to St. Petersburg. It will take you about a half an hour to get there by car. You can also take a bus or a train.

      The address: Vsevolozhsky district, the village of Syargi. Nearest metro stations are “Prospekt Prosvescheniya” and “Devyatkino”.
