The Most Romantic Animals to Be Chosen in Kazan

On February 14, the loveliest animal couple will be chosen in Kazan zoo by voting of its visitors. The action is dedicated to St. Valentine's Day.

      The action's organizers has attached special boxes for valentines to the animals' enclosures. There are also sings with stories about the couple's relations. All the zoo's visitors can vote for the best couple by putting their valentines into the box. 

      Animals with the biggest amount of votes will be announced winners of the contest. They will be presented with their favourite delicacies. The main pretenders are African lions Insar and Leya, Amur tigers Romashka and Iman, iguanas Mojo and Sheda, leopards Roksana and Pudik, coatis Zulkarnain and Snow White and other animals.       But Kazan zoo is not the only zoo to organize special events for the St. Valentine's Day. Zoo in the Russian city of Samara will hold an improvised marriage of two iguanas. All the zoo's workers and visitors are invited. Moreover, on February 14, the zoo in Chinese city of Kunmin will hold the marriage of ram and she-deer.
