Another Big Explosion in a Cafe, Twenty Injured

Twenty people were injured on Tuesday in Volgograd when a gas cylinder exploded in a popular café , placed in the city centre. 

      According to representatives of investigation service, several café visitors and staff were injured. 17 of them were hospitalized with burns of 10 to 40 percent of the body. Three are in serious condition.

      Witnesses say there was a fire in an Italian café "Bellagio", which was placed on the ground floor of a two-storeyed apartment house. Later a gas cylinder exploded that been used to heat the Italian cuisine café.

      The fire spread to other apartments of the house, its tenants were hastily evacuated. They will receive help with temporal apartments and their flats' repair.

      Now the fire is fully eliminated. The café is completely destroyed, but the building itself still can be recovered. 

      The similar incident was about a month ago, in Moscow, when two people were killed and about 39 injured as a result of a gas explosion at an Italian restaurant. Later the investigators found out the improper use of gas cylinder by the restaurant's personnel. The investigation is continuing.
