Museum of Unusual Travels Appeared in Yaroslavl (video)

The Museum of unusual travels has appeared on the territory of the Children's Railway in Yaroslavl. Now, guests can not only ride a train, but also visit railway stations of the past centuries.

At this museum you will be able to make an amazing time travel. An extraordinary adventure starts at the station of the end of the XIX century, with its quiet atmosphere and ringing of the alarm bell, and ends in the era of modern technology.

The attraction consists of three halls, each of which tells us about the development of rail transport. The first room looks like the station of the last century. In the second room you can see the carriage of the beginning of the XX century, as well as expositions dedicated to Savva Mamontov and “imperial” railway bridge across the Volga in Yaroslavl. The third room presents a cab of the locomotive, where children can watch a film about the Northern Railway in the format of 5D and feel themselves like drivers of the train, going from Yaroslavl to the Arctic Circle.

The museum is now open only for groups, but since May, when the Children's Railway begins to operate, it will be working for all comers every day except Monday and Tuesday.

      Address: 54, 3rd Yakovlevskaya Str.

      You can book a tour by phone: (4852) 24-58-83, 79-68-60, 98-38-91
