A new network of charging stations for electric vehicles will be oficially opened tomorrow, February 28, 2012.

      Today electric cars don't seem to be a fantastic thing from the future. More and more vehicles that are safe for our environment appear on the streets of big cities, including Moscow. That is why it has been decided to create a separate infrastructure for electric cars in the capital of Russia. The project “MOESK-EV” has been developed by “Moscow United Electric Grid Company” (MOESK).

      Tomorrow the first charging stations for electric vehicles will be opened in the city. The opening ceremony will be held in the presence of the company's representatives and the city's authorities.

      A special presentation telling about the system of control of the stations will be demonstrated for current owners of electric cars.
