Snowboard Festival to be Held in Leningrad Region

The largest in Eastern Europe snowboard competition – Quiksilver New Star – will be held in the Leningrad region March, 10. The festival will take place at the resort “Igora”, where guests can enjoy a snowmobile show and a live concert of American band “Trouble Andrew”.

Especially for the upcoming festival the organizers have chosen one of the main slopes, where the best builders will create a route with maximum visibility.

The program includes “Red Bull Snowmobile Show», which traditionally attracts many visitors. The headliner of this event will be Caleb "Hearthbreaker" Moore — an American winner of medals of Winter X-Games and a member of the team “Nuclear Cowboys”.

"Igora" resort is located 54 kilometers from St. Petersburg, near the village of Sosnovo in the Priozersky district, the highest point in the Leningrad region. The resort combines elements of the infrastructure of active leisure and entertainment. "Igora" has already gained popularity among the fans of skiing and snowboarding; more than 7000 people a day come here on weekends.

The organizers are going to extend parking area so that visitors don't feel uncomfortable. In addition, guests of the holiday will be able to take special buses from the metro stations "Parnas" and "Devyatkino."
