Two national parks - Mountain Kolyvan and Togul (or Salairsky) will be created in Altay territory in the framework of the concept of development of specially protected natural zones.

It will settle down around Salairsky theft, in taiga that in low mountainous area, which is very convenient for active winter recreation. Both parks are planned to be opened in 2017.

Now Russia has 42 national parks, with the overall area of more than 70 000 square km.
