The festival of contemporary Greek cinema – Greek Week – started in Moscow February, 29. Five modern Greek films will be shown in Moscow cinema “35mm” until March, 4.
The program of the festival represents the new generation of Greek cinema. For example, visitors can watch a new work by Yorgos Lanthimos, who is famous as the author of “Dogtooth”, and enjoy a movie “Attenberg” by Athina Tsangari, in which well-know French actress Ariane Labed starred. Another interesting movie is “Wasted Youth” - a film about a teenager and a policeman, whose meeting will result in a tragedy. The director of this movie is Argyris Papadimitropoulos.
