The rating of the most successful women bankers, published by Bank Review Magazine, is headed by Bella Zlatkis, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board, Sberbank of Russia. Last year Bella Zlatkis was only the third in the same rating.
The co-owner of Transcapitalbank Olga Gryadovaya has taken the second place in 2012, Nadezhda Bulochnik, Chairman of the Management Board of Master Bank is on the third place.
The rating by Bank Review Magazine is made up by three factors: the size of a bank, a taken job position and ownership of shares of financial organization.
Bella Zlatkis has been Deputy Chairwoman of Sberbank’s Executive Board since 2004, and is also Chairwoman of the Board of Directors at MICEX and the National Settlement Depository.
From 1970 to 2004, Mrs Zlatkis worked in the Ministry of Finance, including as a member the Ministry of Finance Collegium from 1992, head of the Securities and Financial Market Department from 1993, and Deputy Minister of Finance from 2000.
She is on the International Advisory Council for creating and developing a global financial center in Russia, as well as a number of expert and community councils and professional organizations. Mrs Zlatkis is an author of many publications, was given the title Honored Economist of the Russian Federation, and has several government awards.

She graduated from the Moscow Finance Institute in 1970 and has a PhD in Economics.
