Tourists Are Welcomed to Enjoy Orchid Festival

The 3d Winter Festival of Orchids is held at Moscow State University's Botanical Garden (known as Aptekarsky Ogorod). Guests can admire blooming orchids of incredible shapes and colors until March 18. The plants have been brought to the capital from the most distant and exotic countries of the world.

The festival takes place in the Palm orangery – among old palm trees and tropical greenery. In these days the complex turns into a tropical paradise filled with flowers, bright colors and rich aromas.

The exposition includes hundreds of other flowering plants - bromeliads, begonias and anthuriums. You can also see how coffee, cocoa, pineapple, black pepper and avocado grow.

The festival will last until March 18. The full ticket price is 200 rubles (the price includes the entrance fee).
