The History Museum in Moscow has opened the exhibition Balkan Triumph with engravings about the Russian-Turkish war from the collection of the Minister of Culture Alexander Avdeyev.
Before the post of the Minister of Culture he worked as an ambassador to Bulgaria and studied the history of the Balkan Peninsula. This is when his collection also started to develop.
Thematically the exhibit reflects all major events of the war in the Balkans.
In the exhibition hall one can see engravings and historical military uniforms and weapons from the museum collection.
