This summer the first international musical festival Opera for All will be held in Petersburg.
The music director Fabio Mastrandzhelo and art director Victor Vysotsky have decided to implement the project in the open-air format – Glinka’s Life for the Tsar, Tchaikovsky’s Iolanta, Roman-Korsakov’s Snow Maiden and other great music compositions will be seen and heard in city squares and parks.
The basic part of the festival repertoire will consist of works by Russian composers of the 19th century.
