Penguin Day to be Celebrated in Krasnoyarsk

The Penguin Day will be celebrated in Krasnoyarsk park of flora and fauna “Royev Ruchey”in the end of March. The park’s staff decided to organize this event after the funny flightless birds had appeared on the territory of the zoo.

Currently, there are two types of penguins in the park, which have been brought this year. They have inspired the working team to celebrate this unusual holiday.

The event will be held on the eve of the International Day of Birds, which is celebrated on April 1. The great program including the costume contest is specially prepared for this day. Thus, those who come in the park dressed as a penguin, will receive a special prize.

Royev Ruchey is one of the five Russian parks, which has its own penguinarium.
