Moscow Embankments to Be Free for Pedestrians

Following European cities, Moscow officials have decided to close some embankments of Moscow rivers to vehicular traffic, organizing special bike and pedestrian routes for citizens and tourists.

The traffic will be blocked from the Central House of an Artist to Pushkinskaya embankment along Gorky Park and till Vorobyovy Gory. It is also decided to organize several bike hire points, allowing people to hire bike at one point and return it at another one.

The Moscow embankments will be closed to cars on weekends starting from May 1 till the end of September.
