Avantfest 2012 to be Held in Moscow

The 9th Avantfest - one of the first festivals of independent music in Russia - will be held on April 6, 2012.

      Avantfest is an event for those interested in modern culture and willing to listen to unusual, extraordinary music.

       The atmosphere of the venue is in accord with the festival concepts: it is one of the most remarkable examples of the Soviet constructivist architecture of the 1920s - Zuyev Recreation Center. Several foreign participants, representing different directions of modern independent music - Tim Hecker, Wire, Xiu Xiu, DJs Boyara, and Ssadina - will perform at the festival.
