Apple is planning to have the third distributor in Russia. The company is negotiating with OCS Distribution, which is a part of National Computer Corporation, reports The Vedomosti.
The documents on cooperation are nearly “finalized”. The third distributor may let Apple increase its supplies.
OCS Distribution supplies household appliances, IBM equipment, Acer, Asus and Hewlett-Packard laptops into Russia.
Currently Apple is working with two distributors in Russia, they are Marvel and diHouse. diHouse owns a retail net re:Store, which sells Apple goods. According to The Vedomosti, Marvel provides for 30% of Apple sales, diHouse does for 70%.
