Collectors Greet Pushkin Museum on its 100th Anniversary

The exhibition Portraits of Collectors is timed to the 100th anniversary of Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts and is a sort of congratulation of the Museum collectors.
      
      The exposition will present about 300 works of art: paintings, drawings, and sculptures from the largest Moscow collections.
      
      The exhibition will acquaint the audience with peculiarities of each collection and the main epochs of the history of art from the 16th century to the first half of the 20th century. These are both Old Russian icons, paintings and drawings by old masters of the 16th-18th centuries from Germany, Holland, Flanders, France and Italy, works by German and French artists of the 19th-20th centuries, and the first third of the 20th century, as well as Russia of the 18th - early 20th centuries.
      The exhibition will run in the Museum of Private Collections from April 18 to August 26.
