The project of a monument to the letter O has been discussed in the Department of Economic Development of Vologda.

      The sculpture is planned to be open by the City Day.

      The monument to the letter O that represents the peculiarity of the Vologda dialect will be set up in a park on the Cathedral Hill opposite to Shalamov's House, a favourite place of citizens’ walks. It is not known so far what material the monument will be made of and how it will look.

      Vologda dwellers have been offered a number of options for the apparance of the future monument, and they will have a chance to select the best one on a special website. The winner will be defined within three weeks.
