New Jerusalem to Receive 500 Visitors Simultaneously

The new building of the Historical-Architectural and Art Museum "New Jerusalem" in Moscow will have the capacity of accommodating 500 visitors at once.
      
      It is provided for by the museum lay-out project approved by the government of the Moscow Region.
      
      The overall area of the building will make 27.4 thousand square meters. It will contain exhibition halls with the area of 9.5 thousand square meters, a children's museum center of 1.5 thousand sq m, as well as restoration workshops, museum shops, a library, working space and service rooms. A parking place for 110 cars will be arranged next to the historical and architectural complex.
      
      The premises presently housing the museum will be transferred to the Voskresensky New Jerusalem Monastery.
      
      The construction of the new building will be finished this year.
