Open-Air Architecture Museum to Appear in Ufa

A republican historical and cultural museum of wooden architecture may appear in Ufa.
      The president of Bashkiria Rustem Hamitov came out with the initiative at a meeting with architects and historians. The press service of the president reported about it.
      "While traveling across Russia I have seen a dozen of open-air museums. I do not know why we are not making it. We have a number of nationalities that we could present in such an open-air museum"- the head of the region said.
      At the meeting they also discussed the need for creation of a museum exposition with reconstruction of the ancient town in the archeological site Ufa-2.
