A permanent large-scale exposition telling about the destiny of the glorified commander and talented statesman Mikhail Kutuzov has been opened in Petersburg.
The exhibition project is held in the Military and History Museum of Artillery, Engineering Armies and Communication Armies.
The major part of the exposition is dedicated to Kutuzov's activity in anti-Napoleonic wars of 1805-1807 and the Patriotic War of 1812. For some time the commander held the post of the St. Petersburg military governor. The reconstructed study of Mikhail Kutuzov makes an integral part of the exhibition.
Opening of the new permanent exposition is timed to the 200th anniversary since Patriotic War of 1812.
