The known singer, songwriter and pianist Regina Spektor is going to visit Moscow after 20 years of immigration and give the only concert on July 15 in Crocus City Hall.
The singer is coming in the framework of the tour in support of the new album "What We Saw from the Cheap Seats" which is expected to be released in May this year.
Regina Spektor was born in 1980 in Moscow and spent her childhood in Vykhino District. 9 years later the family of the future singer moved to the USA, where Regina later entered the New York Conservatory.
In 2000, after the release of her debut CD "11:11" her talent became acknowledged by fans of anti-folk and independent piano music worldwide, however she gained real recognition in 2004, after singing contract with the legendary label Sire/Warner Bros. Records. Her album "Soviet Kitsch" recorded at the label has become one of the 100 best albums according to the authoritative music edition NME.
