The richest person in Russia, Alisher Usmanov, intends to create a holding structure, which will unite all his assets, informs Interfax, referring to Mr. Usmanov’s interview to Forbes. Mr. Usmanov compares the future structure with Joint stock financial corporation Sistema.
The half of the stock in the new holding, which will be named USM Holding, will be owned by Mr. Usmanov himself, 30% by Andrey Scotch’s fund, 10% by Farkhad Moshiry. The rest is reserved for the management.
Mr. Usmanov, 58, is planning to complete his “history of lucre” in five years time to devote himself to philanthropy. Management of his assets will be trusted to his friends.
According to Forbes, Mr. Usmanov’s capital is estimated in $ 18.1b billion. He owns the publishing house Kommersant, a share in MegaFon, Facebook, a media holding UTV (Muz-TV and Disney Channels), a third part of Arsenal FC.
