On April 28 the Pushkin Museum in Moscow opens its most large-scale and unusual project for its 100th anniversary – the exhibition Imagined Museum.
The exhibition will introduce to visitors art masterpieces from the best-known museums of the world. The works presented in this exhibition will be “dissolved” among the permanent exposition of the Pushkin Museum.
The museum collection will be replenished with world masterpieces of glorified painters such as El Greco, Diego Velázquez, Hieronymus Bosch, Édouard Manet, Vincent van Gogh, Pablo Picasso, Amedeo Modigliani, and many others. The exhibition will encompass the history of the world art from antiquity till present days.
The exhibition runs till July 29.
