About 82 fountains and fountain complexes will start their work today in Moscow. According to the "Gormost" press service, the opening ceremony will take place near the Bolshoi Theatre's fountain.

      There are a lot of unique and unusual fountains in Moscow. For example, all 14 fountains in the Moscow's All-Russia Exhibition Centre are the monuments of federal importance. The biggest capital's fountain complex is the one on the Manezhnaya square (12 fountains). But the fountain at the Poklonnaya Gora is the biggest by water dimension - about 15,000 cubic meters gushing out at the same time. 12 special "floating" fountains are installed at the Vodootvodny Canal of the Moskva River. 

       Amazing Light and Music fountain is placed in the Tsaritsyno Park. It is operated by the computer, which changes direction, illumination and spurts power, as well as accompanying music (Tchaikovsky and Paul Mauriat melodies).The fountain is illuminated by 2583 underwater lamps.

      Altogether, there are about 570 fountains in Moscow, including constructions in yards, gardens, parks and detached houses.
