Moscow authorities have agreed to permit the May 6 March of Millions protest action, which includes march from Kaluzhskaya Square and a demonstration on Bolotnaya Square.
The action is to start at 3 p.m. Moscow time at the Kaluzhskaya Square. Then the opposition activists will march to the Bolotnaya Square to take part in a big protest demonstration.
The previous opposition's initiative was to march from the central Tverskaya street to the Manezhnaya Square near the Kremlion walls. But Moscow City Hall rejected that route, saying the action will impede a general repetition of a Victory Day parade, which is also appointed on May 6.
"The official document will be ready tomorrow," one of the March of Millions organizers, Left Front coordinator Sergei Udaltsov, said. He also promised tens of thousands of people to participate in the action, both from Moscow and other Russian regions.
The March of Millions, protesting the results of parliamentary and presidential elections, will be held the day before Prime Minister Vladimir Putin's inauguration as a six-year term President.
