Tattoo Festival to be Held in St. Petersburg

International Tattoo and Piercing Festival will take place in St. Petersburg June 15, 2012.

      The event will bring together various body artists and lovers of this unusual way of self-expression from all over the country. The purpose of the festival is to popularize tattoo and piercing as one of the oldest kinds of art.

      The program includes extreme piercing show, fire show, freak show and different installations and performances. Traditionally, rock bands and hip-hop singers are going to perform at the festival.

      About 60 tattoo studios will present their achievements, and the best masters will compete for prizes in 15 categories.

      Organizers of the International Tattoo and Piercing Festival promise a colorful great show. Guests can stay in one of the hotels of the popular network “Comfitel” or in the hostel “Prima-Sport”. Both places have a good location and all necessary facilities for comfort living.
