Exhibition of Russian Social Art Master Leonid Sokov to Run in Moscow

A retrospective exhibition of the illustrious master of the Russian Social Art Leonid Sokov will for the first time in Russia most fully present works by the artist since the 1970s and till date.
      
      The exposition will consist of 9 sections reflecting the major stages of the artist’s career, and will include more than 120 works.
      
      Sokov’s works making the current exhibition have been brought from the state and private collections of the USA, Europe and Russia.
      
      Along with sculptural works by Leonid Sokov the exposition includes his paintings, which are less well-known to the Russian viewer.
      
      The exhibition will run in Moscow Museum of Modern Art in Gogolevsky from 24 May till 1 July.
