Official sales of iPad3 to start on May 25 in Russia

The official sales of iPad3 by Apple will be launched on May 25 in Russia, says the Kommersant.

      
The final prices are not determined yet. iPad3, equipped with 16Ghz memory and Wi-Fi is expected to cost from about 25 000 Rubles (about $815, the retail price in the US is $499, says RBC News). iPad3, equipped with 64Ghz memory and Wi-Fi 2G, 3G, and 4G is expected to cost up to 35 000 Rubles (about $1 140, the retail price in the US is $829, informs RBC News).

      
The new iPad will not work in LTE nets of Russian providers. About 30 000 gadgets will get into the Russian market in the first consignment.

      
The sales of iPad3 is free form customs duties.

      
iPad3 was presented on May7, and came into the market on March 16 in the US and some other countries. For the first three days about 3 million gadgets were sold.
