Helmet of Roman Legionary Found in Rostov Region

During excavations in the Rostov Region archeologists have found artifacts of the Roman Empire, among them the helmet of an ancient Roman legionary.
The treasure was found by the workers who are clearing away the route Rostov-Taganrog. It became a real sensation, because nothing of the kind had ever been discovered in the Rostov Region before.
According to assumptions of experts, the found fragments, which are about four thousand years old, used to be a helmet of a soldier of the Roman legion. Presently they are working on restoration of the sensational find.
The work is very complicated, after all the helmet of the Roman legionary is made of iron, whereas some of its fragments are silver.
According to the version of archeologists, the found helmet once belonged to a Roman officer, because an ordinary legionary could not afford it.
