Russia has Made Vegetable Oil Export Record

 In 2012 Russia has bitten its 2008 record on vegetable oil export, has announced Vladimir Petrichenko, the General Director of ProZerno company. By the end of May oil export volume amounted 1.066 million of tons.


By the end of agricultural year, that is by the 1st of July, the export may rise up to 1.5 million of tons and even more, added Mr. Petrichenko. The export of soya bean oil will be increased as well, up to 145 thousand tons.


The main buyers of Russian sunflower oil are Turkey (36%) and Egypt (23%). The import of vegetable oil to Russia is low. At that the export of olive oil is constantly increasing.
