Beatles Art Exhibition Opens in Yekaterinburg

June 24 saw the opening of the international exhibition Beatles Art in the foreign department of Belinsky Library in Yekaterinburg.

It presents painting, graphic works, and posters of artists inspired by creativity of the legendary Liverpool four. It should be noted that the opening of the exhibition took place in the framework of the festival Beatles on the border-4 dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Sir Paul McCartney.

As the Ural Beatles Club reports, planned events of the festival are of great success with residents and guests of Yekaterinburg.

Especially popular was the race of marathoners from club Ural 100, joined by Beatles fans under the motto Be healthy, Sir Paul! Beatles fans enjoyed running around the Beatles Monument on Embankment of Iset River so much that they decided to make this marathon a traditional event to be performed annually on Paul’s birthday.
