The Post of Russia and MasterCard have signed an agreement of intent on mutual cooperation and usage of innovational financial products and technologies in Russia.
The two companies will consider some joint projects on introducing MasterCard products and technologies at Post of Russia.
According to this agreement, Post of Russia’s clients can get an opportunity to pay post and other services at the Post of Russia offices with the help of MasterCard payment instruments, including an innovative contactless payment technology MasterCard PayPass®. Within this project more than 2 000 Post offices will be equipped with the PayPass payment terminals.
Post of Russia may also work out on-line payments on its Internet site www.russianpost.ru based on MasterCard Mobile platform.
