Pussy Riot Appear at Moscow Concert of Faith No More (video)

A few walking free members of Pussy Riot punk band performed at the concert of Faith No More in the Moscow club Stadium Live yesterday.

A large banner unfolded on the stage urged the audience to gather at 12 am on July 4 by the building of Tagansky Court of Moscow, where the next court session on the case of Pussy Riot would take place.

More than that, Mike Patton and the band performed the final songs while wearing color balaclavas, as a sign of solidarity with Pussy Riot.
Among those who spoke in defense of the Russian riot girls there were rock music stars Peter Gabriel, Adam Horovitz from Beastie Boys, and the punk feminist Kathleen Hanna, a former member of Bikini Kill.

On June 27 more than a hundred cultural figures signed an appeal requesting to stop criminal prosecution of the Pussy Riot band and release the arrested girls Nadezhda Tolokonnikova, Maria Alekhina and Ekaterina Samutsevich.
