If you are going to visit Moscow in summer, enjoy the open-air cinema “Pioneer” in Gorky Central Park of Culture and Leisure. The cinema offers outdoor screenings and provides guests with pillows and blankets during cool summer evenings.
The main event in July and August is a series of free movie screenings, organized by AD magazine. For the third time people have a chance to watch films of various genres and epochs, combined by one feature – the main characters of all pictures are architecture and design.
This year, the event will be held from July 4 till August 22, 2012.
The program includes:
July 4 - "A Strict Young Man," 1936, directed by Abram Room,
July 13 - "Sleeper", 1973, directed by Woody Allen,
July 25 - "Far From Heaven", 2002 year, directed by Todd Haynes,
August 10 - "The Trial”, 1962, directed by Orson Welles,
August 22 - "Le Bal”, 1983, directed by Ettore Scola.
All screenings start at 10 p.m.
