Russian oil companies are planning to open multifunctional petrol station along the largest highways in Russia, reports The Vedomosti. Petrol stations will offer more services, including parking places for lorries and cars, cafes, motels, bath stations and laundries.
More than 30 BP-branded multifunctional petrol stations will be opened in the European part of Russia. TNK-BP is to invest $ 156 million into the project. Eight multifunctional petrol stations have already started working in Tver, Smolensk and Moscow regions.
Due to Olympic Games 2014, Russian largest oil company Rosneft is going to build about 20 multifunctional petrol stations on the way to Sochi.
Oil companies LUkoil, Gazpromneft, Bashneft and Tatneft are also interested in developing multifunctional petrol station project.
