Another's Face by Oleg Doe

More than 200 young artists will show their works at the III Moscow International Biennale of Young Art that starts today in the Central House of Artist and will last till August 19.

The festival participants are all beyond 35 years of age and will present a panorama of art of the young generation, Kultura TV channel reports.

Exhibitions will also take place in the Moscow Museum of Modern Art in Ermolayevsky Lane and the State Center of Modern Art in Zoologicheskaya Street.

The Central House of Artist hosts the major festival project under the title “Under the Sun of Tinsel” reflecting the problem of indiscriminability between authentic and fake, the loss of one’s identity in the medialization of modern world. It brings together 96 artists from 34 countries. The works on display have been selected by the festival jury headed by the German art critic Katharine Becker.
