Airlines UTair bought its first Airbus aircrafts

At the 2012 Farnborough International Air Show the Russian airlines UTair and Airbus have signed a firm contract on delivering 20 Airbus A 321 aircrafts, reports the company in its press-release.

It is the first purchase of Airbus aircrafts by UTair. The delivery will be started in 2013. According to the catalogue price the total order costs over $ 2 billion.

Open JSC "UTair Aviation" is an airline with its head office on the property of Khanty-Mansiysk Airport in Khanty Mansiysk, Russia. It operates scheduled domestic and some international passenger services, scheduled helicopter services.

Airbus is the world’s leading commercial aircraft manufacturer producing the most modern and efficient airliners in every category, from the single-aisle A320 Family up to the world’s largest airliner, the A380. Headquartered in Toulouse, France, Airbus is an EADS company.
