Russian INTER RAO UES has signed a framework agreement with a Ukrainian energy company DTEK for electricity supplies to the Russian Federation.
Under the agreement DTEK will have the ability to start cross-border power supplies to INTER RAO UES (the Russian Federation) via cross-border electricity transmission lines between the Ukrainian and Russian grids to provide for the best utilisation of power plants in both countries.
Ukraine is supplying electricity to all its neighbouring countries where such deliveries are technologically possible.
