The nearest launch of the Russian "Soyuz" manned spacecraft is scheduled on October 15, 2012, Interfax news agency reports.
The information about the launching of the spaceship, which is called "Soyuz TMA-06M", already appeared on the NASA website on July 20, 2012. But the Roscosmos representatives have confirmed it just several days ago.
It is planned to launch the spacecraft with a crew of Russian cosmonauts Oleg Navitsky and Evgeny Tarelkin and an American Kevin Ford on board. The ship is expected to be sent to Baikonur in the first half of August 2012.
The previous Soyuz's launch took place on July 15. The 32nd expedition to the International Space Station, consisted of Russian cosmonaut Yury Malenchenko, NASA astronaut Sunita Williams and Japan’s Space Agency (JASA) astronaut Akihito Hoshide, was carried to the station on board of the Russian spacecraft.
