The consulate department of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Paris and regional Russian consulates in Marseille and Strasbourg will launch the electronic visa applications as of August 6, 2012.

      For a French citizen to submit papers for the Russian visa, they will now need to fill in an online questionnaire in Russian, French, or English, print it and bring with a photo and other supporting documents to the consulate.

      Those who cannot use the Internet will be receiving assistance from the consulate staff in person at the time of application.
