Russian popular music TV Channel Muz-TV will turn into a new youth channel and change its name into U, reports The Kommersant.
“Muz-TV Channel, established in 1996, will be rebranded this autumn. The new channel will be called just U. Nearly all present TV programs will be remained but the visual image and marketing accents will be changed,” said the General Director of the channel Andrey Dimitrov.
The target audience will remain the same, aged 11 up to 34. The rebranding was caused mostly by low music content on the channel.
