Eagle-Meme: A Sculptor From Chelyabinsk Commemorates Me Gusta In a Monument
Me Gusta and the Eagle-Meme

Imagine a statue has lost its head, arms, legs, or any other important part. You have this poor thing sitting on a pedestal in your city, and nobody including the municipal powers have any idea of how to deal with it.

Welcome Andrei, a sculptor from Chelyabinsk who, in addition to artistic talent, has also got a remarkable sense of humour. The sculpture of eagle was left headless for over a year, until Andrei realised it could be used for something "quite different".

And then he topped the eagle's body with the head of Me Gusta Meme.

A genuine idea in itself, this is expected to become one of Chelyabinsk landmarks, especially among the web-savvy citizens and tourists.

To let you see the fruit of transition from a meme to the Eagle-Meme, we've put two images together.
